20 Things to Do This Summer

Here we are already halfway through summer! In Texas, the hottest days are yet to come. If you need inspiration, like we do, for getting through another month or two of the dog days, here are some ideas:

1) Hook up a slip-n-slide and make everyone take a turn (even mom and dad!)

2) Cut everyone a monster slice of watermelon and eat it outside

3) Wash off the watermelon juice in a baby pool

4) Fix a salad with tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden or a local farm

5) Dance in the summer rain

6) Play in the puddles afterwards

7) Play golf

8) Play soccer

9) Make mojitos (use fresh mint!)

10) Go to an aquarium

11) Make peach cobbler with local peaches

13) Eat dinner outside

14) If you get hot during dinner, run through the hose

    Loved the pics Marie and I know your mom is enjoying them grandbabies with you.
    They are precious kids. I hope she is well and please tell her I thought of her on
    her birthday and thank her again that I had one too…I love her greatly!
