Easy Basil Pesto

People often ask me about my favorite kitchen gadget.  The answer is easy: My food processor.  You see, my food processor and I have a special bond.  I turn to her—like a good friend—when I need a little help in the kitchen.  Which is what happened when I set out to make this pesto.  In the old days, pesto was made using a mortar and pestle, and I’m sure some people still do that today. As for myself? I prefer to dump everything in my food processor and press “on.” As usual, ol’ reliable came through like a charm.
